Hi Guys ,

Never played this game , is it worth it ? I basically want to play online. Does anyone know where I can buy it locally in CT ? Also What PC specs would be sufficient for this game ? My PC specs is Pentium 4 CPU 3.4 with 1GB of Ram

I have a older Radeon PCI Express display. Not sure of details.

Otherwise your nearest Incredible connection stocks them. Fone around to all your local game resellers.. youll find it, usually for around 90 bucks.

Your pc specs are fine, and im sure ur gfx will be as well, game doesnt require 2 much to run decently.

check http://games.saix.net for local servers and latest patch downloads. The full 1.4 patch is about a 550mb download.
 
I bought mine at the CNA...not sure if they still stock it.

Just be aware - Huge patches and gameplay chews your int bandwidth unfortunately.
 
Hello , I have my copy !! Gotit @ Musica Canal Walk for R90 !! Gonnainstall now , Whats the Route Sentry all about ? I will do a search on the forum in the meantime

Uses a lot of bandwidth yes but if you have routesentry running it will only use local apart from the login and stat updates which comes to a matter of kb's.

Patches are quite big but only come once a year or so.

This game is one of the best supported games in SA, 80-100 okes playing everyday. Servers are running from around 9-11 everyday.

amazing game online only though.
 
You can have mine - the game was good when it was released but is now heavily outdated :(
 
Hello , So I played BF2 only to discover I played it a looong time ago already !! haa haa , I felt like a real idoit , too many games ,, too little memory. Anyway back then I just had a brief look at the game and did not play it much as I prefered Unreal T , Now I love this game !!! Its rocks , eben for such a older game the graphics is cool !! Got totally messed up the first hour , everyone was killing me and I was not even playing online !!! The bots are dangerous !! LOL !!

Anyway tried playing online via the control panel and got to a server somewhere but before I could join I was kicked out by some punk called punkbuster !! , please bear with me , me and online gaming aint pals so someone please explain punkbuster to me , I realise I can google it buuuuut I always find the best help here.
