Anyone out there who can assist getting one at a lower price (perhaps direct through Core)? Most places I spoke to also have no stock and have been struggling for the past couple of months to get stock from the importers .

Apple is like Sony - fixed prices AFAIK

If you want it cheaper, try ordering online from USA and use the www.myUS.com remailing option

It's like 99 bucks less for a grey (parallel) import. ZA Store has free shipping so if they charge anything for shipping it will cancel out anyway.
