Where can I report an unhygenic restaurant?

Its why i cringe in restaurants. I firmly believe no one should touch another persons food without gloves, being changed all the time and/or possible dipping them in bleach in between...

I would rather eat bleach that the possibility of someone's skin having touched my food...

I saw the same thing at a popular pizza restaurant except this woman was tearing plastic bags open with her teeth, and then pouring the contents out to be arranged onto the pizzas.

I saw something quite disgusting a few days ago while my food was being prepared and I immediately had my order refunded.

Absolutely disgusting.

dont worry, you are not alone.
many have complained about the lack of bacon on the cheeseburger

You people do know most bugs can't survive the high heat of cooking? If you are eating cooked food, its more than likely safe, if you are eating deep fried food then it is definitely safe.

The problems are with improperly handled food AFTER cooking - you are more likely to get sick from that pie sitting in the warmer all day than a freshly made packet of slap chips or a freshly fried burger.

How do you like a lady tearing a milk sachet open with her teeth to make a milkshake.

Reported it to the franchise head office who got the regional manager to phone me. He couldn't have cared less.

If you've seen what happens behind the scenes at most restaurants/take aways you would never eat away from home again.

I do not feel comfortable with your lowercase approach in the spelling of BACON, frankly I'm disgusted !!

If one cannot keep food uncontaminated during the preparation phase, you're not going to be doing any better after cooking; same utensils, surfaces, hands, mouths, sloppy hygiene and rationalized ethics that justifies basic cooking incompetence as you just did.

I was not justifying incompetence, just responding to all the anal nervous nellies who don't want anything prepared by someone else.

+1 for the anal nervous nellies. They've suffered the anal consequences of unsafe food and have every right to be outraged, name and shame and attempt to hold the industry to higher standard by doing just that.

But it still sounds to me like you are/were allowing for incompetence. Anything less than full support for a germ free process from start to finish in a business that prepares and serves food to the public is clearly unacceptable. To be blunt, I have zero faith in your ability to know what germs are in a particular kitchen and which ones do or do not survive in a particular dish.

If I pay for food it should not make me sick.

Decolonised Food. No cooking no hygiene no plates knives and forks no tables no chairs no music no cell phones no Blue Label whiskey and no cars.

I agree that it should not make you sick, but I don't hold with being so neurotic about it you won't eat anywhere that isn't held to some insane standard of germ-free-ness that is impossible to achieve.

Truth be told, all the neurosis about germs is actually making everyone sicker. If you never come in contact with bugs 'n things you don't build or maintain sufficient immunity. Basically you NEED a certain level of contact with the invisible squigglies to stay healthy.

Lol. There is no 'insane standard' for keeping a kitchen clean. It is a basic, necessary and demonstrably achievable task.

You most likely carry around more bugs on your phone than Resturant staff have on their hands

Hmm... Sort of on the verge of science, no? Sciency. What was an average toilet for them? Been to Africa lately?

Anyhow, your post in no way explains how restaurant staff, no doubt also heavy cellphone users, are not subject to the same level of bug infestedness from their phones. Therefore, your initial post is wrong. Restaurant staff are likely to carry the same level of bugs as I, not less, as you state.
