Where did my MB go?

Yesterday I had 129MB left and as I had 2 days to use it up, I updated Windows Media Player and went onto 2 forums.
Today all is gone. How is this possible? My Windows Update is disabled as I don't want SP 3 update as it stuffs up my VGA.
MTN keeps saying it is the Windows updates that use up the MB's.

It doesn't help when you keep an eye on things and then MTN's creative accounting system still helps itself to your bytes whenever it feels like it (even if you're offline) see here.

Java asks for permission to update.
Acrobat Reader tells you of a new version but does not update.
Forums use the least MB ( No Pics or heavy background)
You can set Windows to update whenever you want. I chose "Never"

16202 told me I had over 600mb last week and I have 0 today. By my reckoning I've used about 400. It's been a similar issue with my voice balance. There are definitely issues on their side and I've learned notto trust their reporting. Unfortunately they can't blame Telkom for their billing processes so we will never get an admission that they are having issues.
