Where do you get melatonin?

From my doc.

The cheap generic melatonin does jack **** for me. The brand name "circadin" knocks me out within a hour.
 
Where are you guys getting this from? Call most pharmacies and all says you need a script now

Will any Dr give it to you tho? Do you think I'll be able to get 1 for 6 months or longer?

I dont think its recommended to be taken for long periods of time. Ideally just to sort out your circadian cycles. Any doc an prescribe it, and if one explains that you dont sleep or struggle to get tired, then you potentially need this.

My wifes sister is actually on it for life, her pineal gland just doesnt perform properly, in fact I think my wife may have a similar issue and as a result, our daughter. Hope not though.

Its mostly a fix for jet lag so not sure what symptoms you want to resolve ?
Unless you think the space time continuum exists purely to fund big pharma ?

Its only effective as a sleeping pill when you are missing sleep ie you have jumped a time zone and need to align with the current one.
Most people say it does not help them with normal sleeping issues. I used it to restore sleeping patterns when I had a series of late nights at work.

Melanin is the hormone your brain releases when you sleep - so you are literally taking sleep.

Thanks, maybe I need to look into getting this I just wish it wasn't S4 like it is now though. Kinda sucks
