I play on the European servers.

1) More chance of people being online same time as you as the timezones are close, very handy if you need a group or raid

2) I figure there should be less lag than to US

3) Rand Euro exchange rate is a bit more stable

4) sever down times for maintenance happen when I'm sleeping or am at work

And yes, Moonglade is a RP server. There are less annoying people on the Role-playing servers than the PVP or PVE ones strangely...

I play there with 5 other friends from SA.We all just started there so quite low lvl.Apparently theres a SA guild there called Shadow Conclave.They have turned into a leet pvp guild now and you cant get invite unless your 60 and a certain pvp Rank .Guess they've moved up in the world.

well, I`ve played this game almost since it was created. and have ever held many characters in different servers, so anyway, the game is always a fantastical game there to entertain you could ever find! I just enjoyed them and accumulated some experience in my page there

Update: Nov 2008

The latest trend is to Roll a toon EU.

Most US guys (from Stormrage - Alliance) have moved to EU - Horde.

I would highly recommend: Vek'nilash (EU) and not any US servers.

Even though the vote reflects more players are playing on EU servers than US Servers....i tend to disagree....

There are about 400 Unique South African Accounts on Stormrage (US Server), and I think this exceed any other realm.

This is a fact, if you look at the South African Guild's Rosters / Guild Info.

NOTE: Lots of people transferred their characters from Ner'Zhul and other Realms to Stormrage.

If you play Horde, a massive initiative were launched (and succeeded) to transfer South African's characters to Whisperwind (also an US Server). See my other post for details.

Just sharing my experience....

if u choose to roll a new character on a 'full' server, u should be shot

Full servers are the best by far, no matter what time you play there will be tons people around, it's great!

i would play on stormrage but PvE is for girls

why make a new toon a server that has maxed lvl 60s,Who is gonna help you quest ?? 5 man instances?? elite quests?? on so on?? ....maybe your imaginary friend?

whats great about spamming LFG for someone to help me kill a elite? when everyone is doing ubrs/ZG/MC!!

Have you even played wow before? No matter how many 60's are on the server there are plenty of sub 60 people around to quest /instance with. I have 4 60's and countless alts which i quest with all the time and have absolutely no trouble getting groups etc... when people get to lvl 60 they get bored outside of raiding etc so they make alts.. you group with these alts and any one else >60..... you understand? or should i draw you a picture?

If you are on a high pop server there are heaps of people around from lvl 1-60... seriously... i have NEVER had a problem finding groups because of being a low lvl.

Ahh naxx i know it well.. can you say farm status? My guild (Eminence on Blackrock US) got world-wide 5th kill of Kel'thuzad, but anyway...

It's called sarcasm...lets not start arguing off topic.

I apologise for sounding like and an ******* in my original post, the anonymity of the internet has made me a bit of a bastard on forums etc.

Was just trying to make a point that just because a server is high pop and well established it doesnt mean you wont be able to find a group at lower levels. Maybe on your server you have found it hard to find groups at lower levels but i certainly haven't...

My wife and I are the only saffers in the guild. Mostly brits, but some poles, dutch etc. Great guild. Havent needed a PUG since Gnomergan. Went to LBRS at lvl 53. lol. I logged on and they had emailed Belt of Valor to me which dropped from their last Scholo.

I suppose everyone has a different experience. I rolled on an established full server. hated it. The PUGs' sucked. Ninja looters etc. Even in a guild of 200+ rarely ever get a full guild run in instances prior to lvl 60. Then when I got to lvl 60, couldnt get into MC, cause they all learning BWL etc,. or farming honor in AV and AB. Couldnt get into ZG cause the BWL guys have priority to get the enchants.

Rerolled on a new server. Different story. run with guild every night.

true i had so many problems with rerolling a new toon on a established server,as you said everyone was so busy doing BWL i had no chance of finding myself a good raiding guild or even finding myself a guild who wanted to do some questing as everyone was to busy with end game quests,attunments ect ect.

i then went to a new server made my own guild and pwned everything there was to pwn in wow.
