Where do you prefer doing your reading. Fictional books that is.
I normally lie in bed or on the couch but since its summer I want to be able to enjoy the outdoors and reading. I like multi-tasking :D Any ideas...Where do you read?

I try read away from my computer, otherwise I am very tempted to just check Reddit quickly... Couch, bed, chair. Anywhere really, depends on the book.

Next to the pool having a cold one. Now that's how to relax

Anywhere inside, too hot outside! And sun on a TouchPad does not make for good reading... When's colour e-ink screens coming out?

Everywhere!

Seriously though I enjoy sitting in a comfortable chair the most. I also read in bed, but normally that gets me sleepy quickly.

When I used to read (that goes back many, many moons :D) it was in bed, on the bog or lounge couch.

edit... I read insurance policy wordings all day long, so reading after hours doesn't feel much like relaxation

Bed, if I read sitting down my neck gets sore. Used to read in the bath also but stopped bathing so can't read there.

When I'm on holiday I like to lay back and relax on my bed, pick up a nice lil book and Zzzz...

I only do cellphone browsing on the crapper. The thought of climbing into a James Patterson or RR Martin while off loading is not appealing to me at all.

Yeah I don't get the toilet reading thing.

Looks like the bed is the best place.

Hint: you need light, escapist reading on the bog. I made the mistake of having Bertrand Russell (a philosopher) as the permanent book in the bog. Contrary to popular belief, this is not the place for complicated thought. You need to be able to finish a chapter of a junky book, not puzzle over a single page.
