Where does the Democratic Alliance get its facts?

They lied and got caught out... again...

They ****ed up and apologized for it. Good. What I dont do is because of that, think they are equally bad.

Wow ghoti. Just.. Wow.

Yes, wow dude. Wow. Just like... wow.

Are you understanding my view? My view is not that strawman that JStrike presented. My view is that screwing up on stats does not equate to a corrupt party. Is this not reasonable?

Or, maybe Chris said to be sceptical of all political parties and not your strawman blathering.

Notice how you just have a go at me, not the strawman JStrike presented about my view. Awesome.

I certainly dont think they are above criticism and criticise them myself when I dont approve of their actions. What I dont do is allow fact checking mistakes to equate to national level corruption.

And where do you see that equation?

I am very much against reporting when it comes down to statistics. In my very own mind I create scenarios entailing trends to predict short and long term developments, missions, goals and naturally the milestones. Working through the article it can be correctly determined that the DA is wrong within this matter, a crucial matter, then I also need to take in consideration that this matter is acknowledged by the DA and will look into this, however they admitted it under scrutiny.

Let’s see how all the political parties compare, since they will also do research on other parties, including the ANC (being the governing body in SA). May this be published prior the elections date.

Anyway, StatsSA have me worried at times, their own stats are at times questionable…

In the end I would appreciate political parties to correct their public made statements which are wrong.

Why lie? Please be more honest.

So for you not to repeat your lie. I dont believe anything is above criticism.

The DA lies intentionally ghoti (just like every other power hungry political party).
They've been caught out before.
I don't buy this "Oh sorry we made a mistake" BS.
I mean come on. An election coming up and they make some pretty bold statements, but then can't back them up or even tell us where the info came from. And you think we're so naive we'll just be like oh it was an honest mistake...

Great, could you point me at a political party that has NOT made a mistake with facts?

Perhaps when the DA makes claims, they need to have their Research Department (which is particularly extensive) more organised so they can point to a verified and credible source.
I agree that the DA should take this on the chin and tighten up on what "facts" they release. However their Research Department is nowhere near as extensive as that of the ruling party.

I'm honestly not sure about your view now. This has nothing to do with JStrike. Your post that I quoted was the 3rd in this thread, before his was posted. So again I ask, where do you see that equation?

And you think they'd do it again, blindly?

I perhaps misread Chris`s intention in the OP.

Ah fair enough. I think, in that light, you can understand some of the reactions given to your post, including mine.

As I said, it had nothing to do with JStrike, my reaction was in response to your misreading Chris' post.

I get your response now. And I apologize, but I wont back off from Jstrikes intentional misrepresentation of my views.

It was not being compared to national level corruption. Where do you come up with that?

He brought up the DA using dodgy stats. They did, and bringing it up is relevant. You do you think the DA is beyond criticism

The DA used stats and didn't have their information in line to provide the source at a moments notice like they are supposed to. This is a problem.

The problem was identified. The problem was acknowledges. The person who identified the problem was thanked. Steps can now be taken to resolve the problem.

What brings you to the conclusion that I think that the DA is beyond criticism? Not having the source of the stats readily available is something worthy of criticism. I praise them for acknowledging the fault though. So again, on what evidence do you base the statement that I think that the DA is beyond criticism?
