Where to Buy 3G Modem

Hi

Anyone know of any shops in Cape Town or local online stores that sell compatible modems? I know that you can get them from Cell C or Vodacom shops but their prices are abit extreme. Surely these same modems are sold unbranded for cheaper elsewhere?

vodacom sells a 3g modem with 100mb x 12 data for R399, this isnt really 'extreme' .... how much do you expect to pay? You can buy a 'new' k3770 from me but with postage it will cost around that price anyway?

You can get a contract 3g modem in your local area or get unlocked usb modem from online site like ebay.co.uk, mifi uk, amazon.com etc,.

You can go to Vodacom, MTN,CellC, or 8ta (depending on the network you want to use) and buy a modem there. Or you could check with your local computer stores to see if they have one or check some south african online stores

Go to 8ta much cheaper than the other 'isp's modems' and it does support UMTS900MHz.
