So its my girlfriend's birthday in about 2 weeks time and she is a keen photographer with a decent SLR (Canon 400D methinks) and a variety of lenses, flashes, etc.

I'm keen on getting her something for her camera and the other day she showed interest in the "Gorillapod SLR Zoom" seeing as though it takes both an SLR camera and a zoom lens (instead of the normal SLR version which only takes up to 800g of load).

Any idea where I can get this for a good price and in time for the first week of March? I've checked out Orms.co.za, but their delivery time is a bit long (and pricey @ R100)

Been using them for ages, but I go directly to the shop. My BiL is in Stanger and he has great regard for them. Phone and ask - really helpful people there.
 
Just got word from Outdoorphoto that they are only expecting stock in April...this was after I had already placed the order so I've now cancelled it.

Bugger! :(
 
I found mine at a normal Kodak photoshop store in the local mall - for a whole lot cheaper than Orms (I was pretty glad I was late getting to Orms on that particular saturday, otherwise I would have bought one there)
 
Going to try the local shops after work and if I don't come right I'll have to get Andrew above to help me out :)
 
i did see one at a foto first but cant remember the price of it. maybe you could try them and see if they have one
