Where to buy tablet

Want to buy a tablet.
Looking at Nexus 7 or 10.
Also looking at possibly a cheaper option, but all the cheaper options have too low resolution screen (400x840).

Please recommend a tablet and a shop that sells it.

Nevermind, Kalahari and Incredible Connection have the best deals.
Esquire need to up their game, as their pricing is more than Kalahari and IC ...excluding VAT.

Kalahari even have stock of a NEXUS 10
It's only the WIFI version with 16GB storage, but at R5.5k, it's an interesting proposition.

What exactly are you looking for?

Nexus 10 to my amazement has no 3g/4g, for the price i am shocked actually. We live in SA, we don't live in a free wifi country on every street corner and coffee shop. I would not buy the nexus, for the price it should offer 3g/4g or whatever. Only wifi for 6k? Not a chance.

I get 2gb data plus the tablet for 399 a month, not a bad deal and it works for what i need. Never took insurance, 130 rand a month seems excessive. Then again if it gets stolen or lost / dropped i guess i would not think it is excessive

Not an apple or samsung and the nexus 10 is just ridiculous that it is does not have 3g or support for anything but wifi for it's price. So really you need to actually tell us what you want to do with it, play toy or business tool / play toy. Samsung and ipad. I would take my vodafone tablet over that nexus but some people don't require 3g i guess but google assumes no one does.

Don't believe 5.5k is a good deal for a tablet with no 3g . Again though no idea what you plan on doing with the tablet. I would take apple or samsung over the nexus.

If you don't need internet or have access to wifi permanently the nexus is a good.

Such a beautiful tablet but wow i am amazed they left out 3g support.

From the techradar review I now see there is NO 3G version for the Nexus 10.
That sucks donkey.

Application: It's for reading books, accessing the internet and making notes.

Gf went for IC's Google Nexus 7 with 3G for R4k and got a 2month prepaid SIM from Telkom.
R150 for 3GB which can be used over next two months. Will have to do as the Cellc C Giga200 is useless in Pta-West, especially evenings.

I'm not going to buy a tablet. Wanted a Nexus 10, but after thinking about it, I've decided to save up for a generic 2560x1600 (wow drool) beauty WITH 3G.
