Anyone know who sells a replacement battery for a Dyson V11? Preferably in Cape Town?

Most of the online options seem like generics from sites I don't know.

I see this one form Bobshop - but it says it takes 15 days..

Then I found this site:

I don't know if they're legit - even though it's a .co.za domain, the payment options make it seem like it's not local?

Thanks!

You can try hirschs spares department.
Or if you have dewalt/bosch/etc cordless tool set you can get an adapter that uses those batteries which will last much longer with the higher capacity. Only won't be able to charge on the wall stand/Holder thing.

Thanks! I'm gonna try Hirschs!

Unfortunately the wall mounting is a requirement for me. I've had a cupboard custom built with a compartment where the dyson hangs, together with a bunch of its attachments and other cleaning things.

Ibattery looks like an international website selling into South Africa, so probably expensive shipping + duties and vat

That really is the best option, you can probably 3d print on as well.
You could also get your existing battery repacked, which will no doubt be much cheaper than getting an original Dyson replacement and will work just as well, you could even increase the capacity for better runtime.

Repacking the battery sounds interesting. I'd prefer to keep the wall mount I have, as it holds other attachments etc. Do you have any suggestions on where I can find someone who repacks the battery?

Thanks!

I don't unfortunately, google may help or maybe someone reading this can recommend a place in Cape Town.
Just make sure they use high quality replacement cells.

Did you ever figure out where to get the V11 replacement battery or get it repacked? I've just run into the same problem with my V11.

I know this thread is a bit old but if anyone wants to know.
www.tudortech.co.za are the authorized Dyson agents. You can can a replacement battert from them in Long St.
Bat as the agents aren't they going to charge extortionate prices for batteries/spares?

Has anyone found a good aftermarket supplier for a Dyson battery?
If not how much do the original Dyson ones cost?
I'm looking for one for a V10 Vacuum

I ended up buying a new Roborock handheld on Takealot because the tards in Hirsch’s parts department are so utterly useless. They simply couldn’t manage ordering a battery for my V8.

Has anyone tried these battery converters to allow you to use cordless power tool batteries?
R700 on Bobshop and they have quite a few versions, up to V10 vacuums:

How much did they want to rip you for a new original battery?
