Hi Guys/Gals,

I'm looking for a good Whey Protein supplement. I have two options in mind, Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein Gold Standard and SA Supplements' Pure Whey Protein. Does anyone have experience using either (or both) of these supplements. Which one would you suggest and why?

Thanks

If money is no issue then Optimum is without a doubt the way to go, the quality and the taste is unmatched

I downloaded a body building mag, and was just reading the pills these guys take, vitamins, etc.... It must cost them R10,000 a month at least.

Would you guys say Evox is a good make though? I've heard a lot about Optimum (positive of course) although it's so damn expensive :(

Honestly boiled eggs are cheaper. Tuna and and chicken.

Mission to eat no doubt but in terms of expense, chicken, eggs and tuna are the cheapest options.

I enjoy EVox protein, no bloating or upset stomach, tastes good and is not bad on price.

Optimum if you can afford it.. Otherwise go to supplementworld.co.za and order some Ultimate Health Pure Whey.. Not expensive, and I've seen great results with it.

And what is the shipping costs then?

I drive past dischem on my way home each day, and then at least I earn double ebucks on it, and since it is on the way, not really any petrol costs.

Shipping is free in all major city centers last time I checked

Optimum Nutrition is a fully imported supplement from the States which attracts an import duty!

Evox is perfectly fine. They use the same protein as pretty much everyone else in the world. There are only a handful of whey production plants in the world.
