They should be inclined to help someone whether they like them or not. It's not a free service. If as a paying customer, you're being treated like crap for a service that you were offered, then you're entitled to either report the consultant or look at other options. And if s/he has too many clients then it's not your responsibility to remedy the situation by trying to stand out, it's her manager's responsibility to manage the workload of their staff.Goes both ways. Yes the private banker gets paid for the job but it's easy to stand out between all her other clients with just a little effort from your side.
It's a service job, consultants are much more inclined to quickly help someone if they like the person.
The problem is that we're so used to bad service in SA, that we're starting to think that maybe we're partially responsible. It's not too different from an abusive relationship...
