which blackberry ?

Can get either a Curve 8900 or a Bold 9000 never used a blackberry before company offering these two any ideas ?

None really I never use my phone to go online as I have a data card for that, checked on gsmarena before I asked here but there is not much difference that I can see.

in that case teh 8900 is better - its smaller and lighter, but doesnt have 3G. Truth is though 3G makes very little speed difference on a BB if you are working through BIS as the speed constraint is the BIS network and not the mobile operator networks' speed

The Bold (9000) is widely considered the be the best keyboard based Berry.
The new curve in my experience is of a lesser build quality as well.

The 9000 is solid.

If you can hang on a bit the Storm 2 will also be on the market in the next month.

3G does make a difference on the bold for downloading, but wait a month the Bold 9700 and storm 2 will be available next month.

I got a reply back from Vodacom... they're busy "testing" the Storm 2 and can't give a release date. Why I don't know. Get with it guys... release the Storm 2 already! Even if it means we'll be without fantastic Vodacom customizations (i.e. Yebo Goggo wallpapers ;-).
