Hi

Phone has to be Android. Tried the iPhone 6 and promptly sold it.
Looking at upgrading from my Z1 Compact. Upgrading next month.

Must not be bigger then 5.5"

So far looking at:

S6 Edge
Z5 Compact - Doesn't seem like much of a upgrade

Which phone would you go for and why?

Thanks!

Contract?

If so, then I'd have the LG G4.

- One of the top cameras currently
- Micro SD slot
- Removable battery
- Rumoured to be receiving Marshmallow very soon.
- Great screen

Yup. Renewing 8 months early :D

Will have a look, thanks!

Why not take the normal Z5? It's 5.2".

And btw, even the Z3 Compact would be a massive upgrade for you.

Go for the S6 edge plus, note 5 or Sony Z5 premium.

LG isnt really a premium android brand. Build quality isnt on the same level as Sony or Samsung.

LG will be worth nothing if you decide to resell it aswell.

This is just false. The G4 is mostly plastic but doesn't mean it has inferior build quality. My G2 is all plastic and the thing is solid as a rock.

Because the G4 isn't selling well doesn't mean it's a bad device. Every review I've seen for the G4 is positive.

Samsung is definitely on the low end in terms of build quality - not to mention all the crap bloatware that come with their devices.

After 6 months to a year, the phone is already fairly outdated given the current release trends, so you're hardly buying for the sake of future resale - the LG also isn't that expensive relative to the others.

Sony, LG or HTC get my vote - I'd personally take the Z5.

I like the Samsung S6/S6 Edge too but the reviews I've seen all say it has very average battery life. That alone would make me give it a skip even though I think it's a really great looking phone.

Looks like I'm leaning towards the 6 Edge 64GB.

Bummer about the SD Card slot thou.

If you are on a budget, Meizu M2 Note from organge store. It is very affordable, had great specs and very good build quality with a big battery capacity and dual sim function.

Have you looked at the Wileyfox Storm?
