Which cloud storage service is the best?

Provides support and updates to my accounting software on networks worldwide. Tried dropbox, onedrive, google drive, and a few other that is not well known such as mega (which is more suitable as a backup storage).

Google drive wins by far with features and accessibility. All you need is a browser on the remote computer to access your google account to download and install updates, fixes, etc.

Mega's free 50GB is a deception. They impose very harsh limitations on uploads and downloads that make it basically impossible to use without a paid account. And their paid accounts are much more expensive than conventional cloud services last I checked. They also don't have a fraction of the features of services like Google Drive and Dropbox.

I've been using a free Mega account for a couple years now and have found it easy to use and have not felt the need to upgrade to a paid account at all. The synchronising works well (unlike OneDrive) and the app on my phone too. However, I mainly use it for back-up so can't comment on other features like sharing and editing, which Google Drive and Dropbox obviously provide. The main attraction for me was the 50GB free space, as other services had way less free storage (student budget). In conclusion: Mega is great for back-up storage, in my opinion.

I think it's hard to argue that a big characteristic for a good backup service is reliability. I'd feel a lot better having backups with Google than Mega. Mega's predecessor disappeared, Mega has been accused of overselling the security of their platform, they don't have nodes all over the planet like Google does, many workplaces and educational institutions block Mega etc.

R29pm for 100GB Google Drive is really affordable, even for students. And it's especially useful for students due to the sharing and collaborating features.
