Hi all and thank you for your suggestions.

We had a Brother HL-4050CDN printer in our office. Something is wrong which causes some spatters on printing. The quote to fix is ±R3 500.00. The printer does not print a lot, maybe 20-50 pages per day.
What printer would you recommend in this one's place? The price of the toner may be the most important thing. I have noticed some times that cheaper printers' toner are the more expensive ones. We preferably want a cabled printer and not wireless.

Thank you so long.

We had a couple of HP CP 1510 series network colour printers which we had no problems with over a couple of years and I think the toner costs were reasonable. We only replaced them because of a managed service thing we have now for our laser printing.

Hi
We have just upgraded our colour laser and the deal to sell the old one is waiting for payment before we release it. I was offered R19K for an A3 bizhub with scanning printing and copying it has a wired network connection. It has a fiery rip as well. I would recommend that a service contract be taken out on it or any laser. But sometimes you can get a deal from one of the dealers although they prefer to push new machines.

Incredible Connection have some trade-in specials on colour laser printers at the moment. I bought a monochrome HP 1217nfw for R999 a few weeks ago. I'm not sure when the promotion is ending but there have been new specials every week since the beginning of February. Maybe you could phone them to see whether they will be offering any other models.

In the 14~17Feb brochure they had a Canon MF8080CW for R3199-95 and Samsung CLX-4195FW for R5999-95
In this week's brochure they have a Samsung CLX-3305FW for R2599-95 which was also selling for R2099-95 in the 31Jan to 3Feb brochure. You might be able to persuade one of the IC's to give you last week's special this week if you are interested in anything.
