Which Electric Toothbrush

Why settle for Oral-B or Philips useless wireless charging, that takes absolute hours to charge and uses their own proprietary charging bases when you can switch to Oclean and charge using a standard Qi charger in a fraction of the time?

Looks pretty good, agree faster charging would be great. But i already have the soniccare and bought me some heads to last a while. Stuck in the ecosystem for a bit unfortunately.

I can walk into the nearest Dischem, get brush heads and just walk out.

Another case of Chinese false advertising lol.
According to the manufacturer, the X Ultra S operates at 84,000 oscillations per minute, making the Oclean toothbrush one of the most powerful sonic toothbrushes on the market. We are unable to verify this information. Based on the mouthfeel, the Oclean X Ultra S delivers slightly less intense vibrations than a Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 5100.
I'll stick with Philips thanks.

I bought one of these Foreo toothbrushes when it was on special at onedayonly.
They are pretty decent.

The charge lasts about a year.

Philips Sonicare long term review
Coming from the cheap Oral B Vitality which I've purchased around 4 of in 10 or so years the Philips is just miles ahead. The Oral B battery would only last 2 days per charge after just 6 or so months and after 3 years needs to be replaced. The battery is soldered on. Also the Philips is way more powerful. I use the head for about a year before I replace it compared to Oral B I replaced it every 3 months because the head would just get mouldy and disgusting.

All in all it's a no brainer purchase. I save money and my teeth feel really clean.

Philips C1 replacement heads are R150 at checkers until the 29th June

I am currently using this and quite happy. i used to also brush too hard, thats the reason i changed to this. Its light up red when it feels you are pressing too hard and green when the pressure is just right.

Does the head still get mouldy?

Yes, I have the exact same model. Any lower model Philips doesn’t have the same number of vibrations per minute.

Very different way you need to “clean” your teeth, you don’t brush, but just move the device head over the teeth.

Takes some getting used to. Found my toothpaste mostly dropping off in the first few times I used it.
Long term review please. Are your teeth whiter now?

I honestly didn't buy it to only whiten my teeth. My main use case was I brushed to hard and damaged my teeth and gums.

I haven't yet had that checked out, but I think it should be better.

Regarding the whitening...I think it made some small difference, I don't think significant.

And the device itself, has it held up?

After having it for a while, and with the benefit of hindsight, would you have bought differently or was this the perfect choice?

Device is great, holding up great. No regrests. Meets all my requirements as per my original post.

Buy replacement heads when they go on sale though.
