Which fitbit?

I'm quite a cautious buyer so 9 out of 10 times I end up annoyed since it's the right thing but I was just a bit too frugal. The other thing is that for something I'm wearing 24/7 I really don't care about the price difference.
As am I, which is why I went for the B-Fit ;) Now that I've been wearing it for a couple of months, 24/7, I've realised that there's really nothing else I want out of a fitness tracker. Maybe a fully fledged smart watch... but not one of these.

Yeah I can see the rationale.

Now that I've been wearing it for a couple of months, 24/7,
That's with 20/20 hindsight though. It could easily have gone the other way (the massively cheaper device turned out to be inferior...a real possibility) and then you would have been R400 poorer with nothing (usable) to show for it. Happened to me with sunglasses...have like half a dozen cause I took a chance hoping it'll be good enough.

I'm not buying the premium brand because of extra features. The bet here is that fitbit is likely to be producing a better product here - they have more experience, more scale and well more money to play with. Might only be 10% better (finish, water resistance, app linking, accuracy etc), but that 10% might just make the difference.

One can argue it either way I suppose. And maybe I'll change my opinion on Thu when the thing arrives lol
