Hi Guys

I need some advice on choosing a scanner to scan my wedding photographs.

Can you make a recommendation?

Should be able to scan at least A4 size in fine detail.

Thanks in advance

I am currently using a Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 which i consider good value for money because of its nice compact size and that it gets its power via the usb port.
It comes with some handy editing software.

I did once have a very expensive R2500-00 scsi scanner but this Canon LiDE 25 beats it hands down

Was discussed yesterday, just search. I have Cannon Canoscan 4200F works well and can scan negatives. The conclusion in the other thread is that the later model Cannon 4400 F were selected due to price v performance/requirements. Cannon does have other nice utils and hardware functions like
Scan direct to PDF file or e-mail
Nice software controls
Direct "hardware" controls on scanner for main scan functions to PDF. Copy, Scan and E-mail
Build in negative holder for scanning
