Which franchise do you reckon makes the most profits - that people enjoy the most as fast food? Which would actually buy?

Steers? Nando's? Sandwich Baron? McDonalds?

Wimpy.

Breakfastfood always make the most money compared to steak and the regular stuff.

KFC beats all of them by a huge margin thats why its so damn expensive to own one.

All depends on your location.
Fontana round the corner from me does a roaring trade between 3 and 6 on a Saturday and Sunday morning.
KFC in Braamfontein must be a goldmine of note - there's a que to get in there every weekday lunch

[edit - on that note, KFC won't even consider looking at you until you have a site they approve of]

Not really ... if you secure a site that will churn out the chicken they don't really care. Thing is, at the moment most "new" sites which are likely to be successful are going to be in traditionally black areas.
My bruthas sho' dig their chicken

The (Halaal) Nandos on Hans Strydom Drive in Randburg makes R 1 million *profit* per month.

IIRC the flash roadhouse a few km's make 2mil a month (well, it used to)

i may be wrong.....

Do yourself a favour and call them, they will not do it unless you are majority BEE.

Somebody is going to come and make this ugly...
But i agree Keeper.

A friend of mine's father has a couple of fast foods, and he says by far Nandos make the most money because the biggest part of our population loves chicken... They like Nandos more than KFC

We wanted to open a Nandos in Mumbai (they already have one or two in the city, but with a population of 13 million I think they could do with another one).

Upon enquiry from the Indian Franchise Owners, it turned out they wanted 15 million Rupees for a franchise - that is approx R 3 million.

Think thats too much of a generalisation, Nandos has pretty hefty prices.
Most of the population can't afford it they more likely to get a streetwise 2 than a quarter chicken and chips from nando's.
