Which handgun do you recommend for EDC?

More questions..
Night sights are they worthwhile?

Had issues with the stock sights moving so need to get metal, considering getting night sights.as the same time
Any suggestions don't want to go broke but happy to buy something that will last.

I've made the assumption that it's for a Glock 19 ?

Where are you situated?

Lastly have you considered a red dot, I guess then you'll be broke after that expense... 😐 😐 😐

R2307.5 for the Glock Tritium night sights at TheGlockShop, will probably fit them for free in-person.

Have them on mine since and they're nice, work well when partnered with a WML too.

Yes G19 JHB
Its a non MOS model so red dot gets a bit more complicated.
I have shot with a red dot and enjoyed it but currently want to keep it small.

Any suggestions from those sights?

I read an interesting article the other day, can't recall where, about night sights.. Basically what the author was asking is if it's too dark to see your sights, don't you think it's too dark for positive target identification? Especially if don't also run a wml.

Anywhoo... don't mind me, just wondering out loud.

Yeah, if it is sooo dark you can't see the sights, you might have a situation called Stompies 2.0.
We are 12 days away from Valentines day.

The stock sights on a glock17 are rather unremarkable.

I swopped in truglows and a discreet olight red dot at the bottom.

Works nicely but i know the glo will eventually fade. Then just put new ones on.

Oh and it looks amaze-balls

I wish I could tell you get these one's or those one's etc...

I'm on my own journey, and will be getting a HOLOSUN EPS CARRY for my G43X, also needs to milled, non MOS slide, probably better in a way...

There's another option, perhaps the fiber optic rod sights instead of the Tritium sights.

There's another brand sold by Dave Sheer, Irene Arms, Waterfall Arms called Night Fision.

Why is milled better?

Direct mount to the slide (no plate required), sight usually sits lower, sometimes possible / easier to co-witness with irons.
Aha sounds like even less volume added to the gun.
Exactly what you want on the 43x.
If you add volume consider a light on the front rail gives you a little more grip space.

If you running a red dot and wml on the 43x might as well just get the Gen 6 19
