Hi guys,

I'm looking to get a vehicle for around R160k. Preferably a modern hatch. I've been looking at the Renault Clio but the interior is questionable. Also looked at the new Opel Corsa 1.0T Essentia. Hoping to pick up something like a demo for this price. Mazda 2 is nice but more pricey.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Add 10K to your budget and visit Opel in Boksburg. They had a LOT of demo Corsas and Adams with TONS of features for R170K. And low milage. Some had under 1k.

But for 170k I would rather buy a Clio. I did have a look at the corsa but the interior was quite bland. Then again, it's German engineering so it might fair better than the Clio in the long run.

Clio guys, please post regular updates in the Clio thread so we can see how that engine maintains its longevity, or whether it retains its French reputation.

Stroller I'm not really fond of the Jazz. It's just my perception but I find it too feminine for my liking. Suzuki Swift, now that's macho

I have a Jazz. Maybe conceived too feminine like you said. But hell it's so easy to drive in traffic. Mine is the 1.5 elegance auto.
Had various other cars from Audi to Peugeot 2.0 and the Jazz will beat them all robot to robot but obviously above 80 it falls behind

This jazz sounds like a GTI killer. With an auto gearbox nogal
