Which headsets for gaming..

Wow

Good price?!

Almost the exact add i posted :)

I have one that I bought second-hand and I am happy with it. The headband hurts me after about three or so hours but I just adjust it a bit forward or backward on my skull at times.

The sound quality is great, although the headset is very loud so I used a program called EqualizerAPO to reduce the gain on the output. Before I did that, on 6% volume it was loud to the point that my ears were hurting. Now I have them at 14% with a fair amount of gain removed, which gives me more granular control over the volume.

If you have concerns about the mic quality, you are welcome to add me on TS for a test run

Not saying its a bad headset, just that i want to play around with others and "see"

Thanks, i assume R1000 is good price for them, seeing as they go for 1300 new

For a brand new one it's a steal. The last headset I bought was a CM Storm Ceres 400 for little over R400 and I tjanked when I saw what the prices were like lately.

sorry for thread Necro, but i just ordered the Philips SHP 9500 + V-Moda from Amazon :-) I spent a lot of time researching and it boiled down to this, versus the Superlux HD668. But in the end, despite costing more, the "fully open" nature of the Philips tipped the balance. I need something that at least gives me a fighting chance of hearing the tsotsi's trying to break in.
