Which Internet browser do you use and why?

Situation changed. I'm using Opera due to it not being a resource hog. Tab management is great, and I get to keep all my old Chrome extensions.

Vivaldi hurts my eyes when it's set to change colour depending on the site visited.

Opera is still a resource hog it's a blink browser

Safari, works best on iPad and iPhone.

Samsung browser because I prefer it to Android Chrome.

Chrome and FF on Windows laptop, except when using some streaming sites which seem to work best in IE, Opera when I want to search for torrents as some sites are blocked on all the other browsers but still work in Opera.

At work:
Internet explorer for banking and internal work sites (kept secure and up to date with security patches at work, also internal sites only work on IE)
Firefox for fun stuff like this forum and general browsing. Used to use chrome but the security folks at work in their infinite wisdom decided it was dangerous for unknown reasons and forced everyone who had it to uninstall.

At home:
Chrome for everything.

Work: IE & Edge - our intranet sites demand IE
Personal :
* pc & laptop - FF - because Google .. meh - too clingy
* Android phone - FF too (used Chrome for a while then stopped)
* Maemo phone - FF

Work PC 60% IE and 40% FF.
Personal iMac 90% Safari and 10% Chrome.
iPhone 90% Chrome and 10% Safari.
Decisions mainly based on screen reader support and eas of use, but I guess I also just got use to certain things. For example for some reason I prefer Chrome over Safari on my iPhone, I find it easier to use and a smoother experience, but guess I simply got use to it same as preferring Google Maps over Apple Maps. On the other hand I again prefer Safari on my Mac over Chrome.

I've actually started using Chrome as my main browser, despite my earlier praises for Firefox. Chrome needs more work than Firefox to get usable, but the motivating factor was the clearly superior text smoothing. Can't really beat a feature that makes every web page better looking.

- uBlock Origin & LastPass of course
- RSS Feed Reader is a pretty great replacement for Firefox's live folders
- Reddit Enhancement Suite is still available
- Magic Actions for Youtube is a pretty excellent Youtube extension

Still looking for an extension that lets any download be pushed off to a download manager of your choice. Have to open Firefox for that currently.
