Which Internet browser do you use and why?

According to NetMarketShare, Chrome is the most popular Internet browser in the world.

Are you on Chrome? If not, why not?

Both chrome and firefox, both have positives and negatives.

Both Chrome-based browsers and Firefox...actually, I find myself using Chromodo the most as it has a few features that I don't have with Chrome.

Firefox, because it syncs smoothly across all my OS's.

Tried Chrome/Chromium in the past but linux Fedora/Gnome 3 implementation breaks often (haven't tested recently) ...

Chrome, because sync across devices is really easy as I already had a Google account and now I'm familiar with it and it doesn't give me any issues.

Chrome.

Years ago I went through the effort of trialling different browsers each week. Back then I was a hardcore Firefox fan. There is a thread on another forum where I bitched about the experiences of each one. Chrome came out the best, and I've always stuck with it.

Safari. Chrome is too much of a resource hog.

I use Chrome with extensions for (mostly) Google applications like Inbox, Calendar, Keep, Drive, Photos, etc.
I use Opera with extensions for everything else.

Why?

Chrome works best with Google properties & applications. Its stable & solid and I do like it. However, I usually have many tabs open at once and Chrome is a CPU & memory hog. Also, sometimes it loses my open tabs after a restart and I have to hunt down the sites I was busy with in the history.

Opera is brilliant at its tab handling, even when I literally have 100 open. It is also stable and secure. It is frugal with memory usage. It includes a native ad-blocker so I don't have to add one via an extension. It allows me to use any Chrome extensions, so if I can't find one I want in the Opera extension store I go to the Chrome store.

Edge atm. Chrome broke with all the proxies and networks...again.

Seriously, they all suck.
