Hi Guys,

I've received different answers for this question and not sure which to believe... Or if it even makes a difference?

Which is faster?
- 2x 1Gb RAM Modules
- 1x 2Gb RAM Module

just get 1x 4GB :p

I agree with PP and Astro, but you will not notice the difference, unless you running benchmarks, and only then it'll be a slight difference.

2 1gig modules are faster, but you wont notice the difference.

Agreed. One module leaves you with more room for upgrades, although using dual channel would make a small difference. If you don't need more than 8Gb RAM then 2x 2Gb now will be a little bit better, but as nakedpeanut said: It's so small you won't even notice the difference. And benchmarks will only add a small increase.

Rather just go with 1x 4Gb.

Dual Channel gives you about 12% increase in memory throughput in benchmarks - or at least this was what I saw from memtest x86.
