Im having my adsl line installed on the 15th. Which isp should i get?

I will be downloading stuff and email. Id be really download.

Its a 384 line.

For SAIX (international use) definitely go for WebAfrica. For IS (local use) go for OpenWeb. There are no better alternatives.

If you're downloading locally then IS internationally TI makes sense.

Sorry for saying that but really it does. :o I get ±6gb every month for r249.

If another SAIX isp wants to offer a similar deal I'll drop Ti in a heart beat.

What is TI?? URL? I would be mainly on easynews and allofmp3.

Im gonna guess you read the ISP post already, so..... the conclusion is kinda easy from that. What you confused about?

I'll second what Ravid said.

WA just won MyADSL's best ISP award for 2006 and OpenWeb was a close second.

I use WA and am very happy with them, their service is outstanding. I play local games mainly and do a bit of AOMP3 as well. 3Gb usually sees me through a month.

Whatever you do, don't get a contract. Modems are cheap, and without the contract you can hop from provider to provider and find which suits you best.

I wish ISPs would include the line & ADSL rental costs in their amounts. Its as misleading as cell-phone contract when they say "Contract only Rxxx a month!" When there are all those hidden costs.

go with 3g if you can afford rather. very fast.
whatever you dont go with iburst. they suck!
as far as adsl is concerned...hmmm.. dont use it so dont know :)

like my other post i dont know who is good at adsl but i think hellkom.co.za will give u a good idea unless you already have checked it.
my brother is with gam though n he has no complains.
