The reason for asking is, that apparently IS is a better option than MTN Business (well, thats what i have read on the Net)
...anyone?

OpenWeb
Plugg (IS consumer division)
WebAfrica

Those are the big ones and then there are a plethora of other smaller providers and probably some bigger ones that I missed.

IS may be better than MTN from a backbone perspective, but there's nothing wrong with how Afrihost runs on it.

Basically every single ISP sells IS bandwidth......

If you asked which ISP does not sell IS that would be a shorter list...

Telkom - SAIX
Axxess - MTN
Afrihost - MTN
Mweb - Mweb own backbone
Cybersmart - Cybersmart own backbone
Sainet.co.z - Neology

...lol
Well, i have noticed before, that IS definitely has a "smoother" connection when opening normal web pages...genuine

depends on package , they have there own backbone also , used for capped and afterhours uncapped

Our major traffic is office hours so we use the IS backbone.
Hasn't been too bad, but I just don't like IS in general, too many bad experiences.
