Which laptop ? - purchase advice needed

A friend is looking for a laptop - pretty much for travel purposes:
From the mail:

I am thinking of using Protools first software ( need 15GB space for the program) ,http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/Compatibility/Pro-Tools-First-System-Requirements which has a much lower requirement than the full protools I use on my main studio laptop.

I'm thinking of under R10 000 including tax

best case scenario would include:

SSD ( for quiet operation)

not a celeron processor , something like i5 or amd athlon higher range

Either faster than 2.25 GHz or with an external record/playback drive?? ( like they mention here for laptops):
Officially qualified with Avid and M-Audio FireWire and USB audio interfaces or standalone with either eSATA or USB 2.0 external record/playback drives:
HP8540W/HP8440W Laptops Intel i7 Q820 1.7GHz
ASUS N71Jq Laptop Intel i7 720Q 1.6GHz


at least 8GB ram )( or 4G upgradeable)

I don't need anything sophisticated in terms of graphics or video etc, this is a travel computer for recording light weight and silent operation important,

Any suggestions ?
