Which lens?

Decent pictures..

Must find out from my friend if they'll be cool with me posting a few pics of their little one... first subject I used to test my new lens on..... and he's a little showoff as well so looks good in photos...

I have no intention of posting anything unless they say its cool... I value their friendship too much to cause any k@k...

I just don't like the idea of putting personal pictures (of me or anyone) on-line. Maybe my thinking would be differently by the time I reach 30 if I was born in 2008, but in my experience, stuff you put on-line has a tendency to come back at you.

He did irritate me as well....

I must say my new lens (the 70-300 Sigma) does some very nice things.... some really nice photo's of my friends lil one....
 
I don't feel like making a web album now, too much hassle. Is there some place other than flickr that I can use (I don't have/want a Yahoo ID)?

Whats wrong with creating a yahoo ID - it's not like you have to actually use it and - touch wood - I've yet to be spammed from it.

If you have a google account you can use their albums though you wont be able to participate in the MyBB Flickr group.
 
Never mind... just signed up. I have too many email accounts (university, personal, ISP, gmail, etc) so won't use it anyways.
Username is Froot0.
 
Ahhhh luverly, thanks ldmelsa... nice giggle for the day.

Koffie : I do tend to agree with you, but this kids life is already online... the earliest photo of him I can find is a 3d scan... then almost from day one of his life, photos are online... The family are very in touch with technology and its actually pretty cool in its own way.
 
So I signed up to flickr but I cannot log in - it says my cookies aren't enabled :confused:

Must be... everything else works on my FF except for this.... but Yahoo does have my username cookie... but not the login one :confused:
 
One thing I can vouch for with that lens is it's AF speed... it's incredibly fast.

It's pretty good. :)

Be careful though - its one of the few L grade lenses that isnt weatherproof so be particularly careful around sand.
