Hey guys, need a bit of help

I need to get myself a ADSL2+ Modem that will have half bridge mode (think thats what it's called- need to set a PPPOE connection on the modem and want to run connections through windows as well). Currently running a netgear DGND4000 that does not have half bridge.

I will need to buy from http://www.dbg.co.za/ as I have a bit credit there.

I'm looking at this one (need good wifi too): http://www.dbg.co.za/product_info.php?cPath=1_55_57&products_id=988

Any suggestions?

For all in one consumer wireless modem routers, those TP-Links are top-notch. You won't be disappointed with the model you're looking at there.

Cant comment on TP-Link personally, but I've seen some bad reviews, but like anything, its probably people buying the budget one and wanting the high-end experience.

I recently went through the process of finding a new one, having only had the Telkom standard issue ones previously.

I ended up going with an Asus DSL-N12E and I couldn't have been happier, it works solidly and has a great user interface and range and speed are impressive.

I don't think your supplier stocks Asus though unfortunately. But thought I'd give my input.

+1 for the TP-link.
Remember you can claim a discount as MyBB member. You will probably have to ask for a quote via email.

Thanks everyone for their input. Got the modem on your recommendations. Special thanks to @RoMark for letting me know about the discount.:D
