-Intel® Boxed Core2™Duo E4600 Processor - 2.40GHz Dual Core, Socket 775, 2MB, 800MHz FSB, 65nm, 64-Bit Ready, 3 Year

-Gigabyte® NVIDIA® GeForce 8500GT, 512MB 128Bit, Dual DVI & HDTV, DirecX10, OpenGL, Dual RAMDACS, SLI Ready, Silent Pipe II

- 4GB RAM DDR2-800

- Seagate® Barracuda™ 7200.10 Series - 250GB Serial ATA II (SATA2) Plus - Serial ATA 300 (3Gbps) With 8MB Cache @ 7200RPM - NCQ

This is gonna be my PC, I'm getting it soon. I will propably run it at first on XP then mabe later on change it to Vista.

Not especially great as that 8500GT will probably disappoint...

Seriously, get that 8500GT outta there  :o

Yeah man, I have one. Not even the 512MB version. :o

Not a bad entry-level card but no good for any kind of decent gaming or anything like that. Nowadays there are a lot more much better cards out there for not that much more money...

At least get the 9500GT if you are on a tight budget. Or the HD3650. They are both around R800-R900...

So which one of these would u Recommend:
Gigabyte® NVIDIA® GeForce 8500GT, 512MB 128Bit, Dual DVI & HDTV, DirecX10, OpenGL, Dual RAMDACS, SLI Ready, Silent Pipe II

or

Gigabyte® ATI® Radeon HD2600 Pro, 256MB 128Bit, Dual DVI & TV-Out, DirectX 10, OpenGL 2.0, Shader Model 4, Silent Pipe 2

Ok, so my dad got me my new pc, 4gb ram, 2.6ghz core 2 duo and the 8500GT 512mb.
I installed flight simulator X, and its really not bad. I can play the game without lagging on Medium high to high. I really think that card is just s000 underrated.

Glad you are happy with the 8500GT. I would not have advised you to go down that route. I am happy with the one I have and it supports my 2 LCD's fine, but I don't game at all.

Anyway, good that you came right. Enjoy the new machine man :)

Finally someone my age. I'm still waiting for my system though

I really think you should have put some thought into your choice of graphics card. A second hand 7600GT even, which I've seen recently for about R600 could easily smoke an 8500GT, but if you're happy then all is good.
