My company told me I can select a new phone and I can choose between Samsung S7 (not EDGE), iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.

I currently have a S6 and I'm pretty happy with it.

I'm leaning towards the S7, for headphone jack and expandable storage. But I'm also wondering whether I should give the iPhone a try to see what the hype is about.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks

Faanie decided to make the change to iPhone. and he had iPhones before. he sold it in about a month.

this is your work phone, so you wont be able to do that. IMHO it is not worth risking a ecosystem you are not familiar with with the work phone, you have no out.

if it was a personal phone, how important the headphone jack is to you? but being a work phone, I say stick to the things you know.

I have to agree - you know the Samsung ecosystem and the S7 is a great phone ( I have the edge though) - stick with it. If you had a "play phone" that wasn't work related you could try it. Or better yet, borrow an old iphone 4 from someone and see if you like it :)

I've had 7 iPhones, and 1 Galaxy S7 Edge.

The S7 died after it got wet. I remembered why I pay money for quality hardware...

Get the iphone 7 plus or the s7....I don't like the iphone 7 much, bit small and boring.

Take the 7 plus, sell it on Carbs for R12k, get a used S7, also on Carbs for around R6k. Profit...

definately the phone's fault it got wet hey?

not judging your personal bias here, but your argument is weak.

don't blame your own mistakes on the hardware. you probably had too many options you were not used and got the phone wet as an excuse to get back into your comfort zone of the apple ecosystem.
