Which Samsung devices are you purchasing?

Buy yourself one then, I've had it for 6 months and still Samsung have not been able to make this resemble the stability of the Xoom, iPad, Asus ...

Btw the problem is IMO primarily software, and the rest design.

Ja, I have two Sammy tvs, one of them is a 5 year old LCD which hasn't given a minutes hassle? Phone, washing machine and vacuum cleaner. The only item which has given hassles was the vacuum cleaner which they replaced without any questions. Personally I find their products awesome, haven't got a bad thing to say.

I have a Samsung TV, Washing machine and Tumble dryer -- they're all good IMO.
My issue is with the bad quality of the tablets -- rushing crap to market; doesn't all of a sudden make crap phenomenal.

Aahhh, fair enough, I have no comment on the tablets. I am still in love with my iPad 1 :D

The 7" was definitely for it's fast release a better solution than the 10.1 -- however instead of fixing the 10.1 -- Samsung chose to rather move onto building the next form factor.

I too have an iPad 1 & 2, both which work as expected.
I needed a tablet for Android development; went with the 10.1 after reading quite a few positive reports with their phones... I now have my 10.1 up for sale, hopefully I'll get most of my money back -- my sights are now set on the Xoom or Asus tablets.

Get the TF. The Xoom had too many bad reports.
Had an iPad2. Sold it because I preferred my TF. It's a good tab, and the Prime is way better than the original TF. Prime thinner than the iPad2 too.

Thanks for the advice; you're not the 1st pushing me towards the Asus -- guess that's what'll I get -- hopefully there's demand for the crap.
 
[)roi(] ... I share your SGT10.1 sentiments. Knee-jerk reaction product from Samsung when the iPad 2 release gave them brain freeze.

Now using the Note. Fantastic device. The over-sized phone will after a while become a bit of a pain I think. I had a good laugh last night when my daughter (who didn't know about the the new device) asked me with serious concern what happened with my S2 to make it look like a pancake phone ... LOL!
 
As expected the courier will only deliver my SGS2 on Monday!

One more weekend with the Crapberry then it goes into the Recycle Bin!

After looking around last night I did notice that my washing machine and Plasma are also Samsung.

Brilliant stuff. For a beta it works pretty well hey.
Will be nice when they reach final release and the app goes into the app store.

There are rumours of a client for XBox too. That would be a bonus.

Will keep an eye out for the final release. At the moment it is chowing through my data downloading the metadata.

I sold my TF101 in December as I had pre-ordered the Prime due to land on our shores this month. I got a call from WebAntics on Friday to say they had stock.
R7,499 for the 64GB model. Stupid, ridiculous price. I cancelled. Expansys have it for around R1,000 cheaper and they are normally expensive.
The dock is an additional R1,699.

I seriously wish I had not sold my TF101 (with dock!) in December.

I will probably import my Prime. I am not paying the ridiculous prices they charge locally. For now I will just make do with my Note ):

Yeah pity you sold it, seeing that there is a Prime 2nd Gen expected out Q2 without the WiFi/GPS issues.
