I use a Samsung galaxy A3 2016 which is a downgrade from my A5 2016 that's battery died but both of these phones are excruciatingly slow and torture to use. I'm trying to save up for a new phone.

I like the cleanliness of Android One.
It is nice and fast with plenty storage, RAM & SD expansion.
Battery life is good. I get more than 2 days use and get a full charge from 0 to 100% in about 2 hours.
I am different. Wherever you look you will mostly find Samsung, Iphone, Huawei etc. My previous primary device were a Blackberry PRIV and secondary still is a Nokia 2.

Samsung S9 - the display is super clear, easy to use not bulky and a great camera. I do not do contracts so initial purchase of a decent phone is relatively expensive, however, I choose the phone carefully as it must serve me for a few years before I replace it.
