Which USB CF Card reader?

Any recommendations on a USB CF card reader? External.

I need one urgently.

Think they all much the same

I have a scandisk. Works a charm and a shed load faster than transferring from the camera directly
 
I guess if you're looking for a name brand then Sandisk?

How would I know - I'll buy whatever is on special at the time and so far that's yet to be sandisk. :)

lol - far from it - I'm sure you could find more than a few members that are more technically inclined (pixel peepers) - I'm just in it for the images. :)
 
Thanks, I will get the Transcend/Sandisk .. whichever is cheaper and in stock ....
 
The cheap-o readers are generally considered to be a hit-and-miss affair, but I don't have any first hand experience.

+1 for the [url="http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Catalog(1197)-SanDisk_Extreme_20_USB_Readers.aspx]Sandisk Extreme[/url]. I have the USB one - fast and reliable.

I've never personally had a 'miss' though I do wish they were more foot resistant. :o
