Which WIFI Router to purchase

Hi Everyone,
At present I am using a 300Mbps Tenda ADSL with dual Wifi aerials. and I have to constantly keep rebooting the router to enable better Wifi signals or sometimes reset the port within the router settings and that would help for a while.

What I need to know is what decent router with adsl ports is being used with no frustrations specific to Wifi.
Willing to pay up to R3000.00

I'll be following this thread, as my Mecer wi-fi / ADSL router keeps losing signal. I then have to diagnose the device and reset the network adapter to get it working again

Hi, im using a TP-Link 8970. Awesome router. Gigabit ports/ usb ect.

Very stable, it goes for roughly R1300.

Choose your pick from ASUS. I have the DS12NU-B 300mbps ADSL router. 100% up time and it can easily handle about 10 devices. It shouldn't cost you more than a R1000.

Otherwise it's a solid router.

I would go with Asus or Billion, never had a problem with either. Rock Solid.

Yeah, did that. I'm assuming its due to the number of devices connected. Around 12.

I'm using a TP-Link W8960N router - could someone please recommend a wifi extender to use with? I'm looking at the TP-Link products, but all the different nano powerline, wifi powerline, etc. adapters are very intimidating.

My setup is 4MB ADSL home office (where router is installed), three pc's/laptops and a couple of cell phones and iPads connected wirelessly - the furthest room being a granny flat (30m range) through solid walls.
