Various places had this for sale for around R2,300 a bottle a while back. So don't get too caught up on the size of the perceived "special".
Besides the higher ABV the online reviews say that the price tag doesn't justify the contents.
There are plenty other bourbons at a lower price tag that will offer much more enjoyment. I have attached an example below.

That Tennessee bourbon from WB will make you look at bourbon in a totally different way. It is sublime.

weird, spotted the Beastie at Tops last week and it was still at the ±R540 mark

You save R 628.95. But shop around and make up your own bundle and see what you really save or don't.
Aerstone is kak and the rest of that bundle is extremely generic....but that of course is based on my taste and requirements.
If you like all those, it is all about the math.
