Seriously seriously enjoying this this winter.Buddy from Scotland brought back a bottle of this for me...
To say I'm excited to try it is an understatement!

They do have a nice batch of whisky always found it similar to IrishOpened this last night. I haven't forayed into Japanese Whiskey territory for a long time, but this is really good.

I think I need to save it for next year about 30% down. Enjoying a dram with a book by the fireplace everynow and then![]()
Saw it at Schiphol a week ago for 90 something Euro. So about R2k. I paid equivalent of R1.6k. That price is crazy secondary market priceSeriously seriously enjoying this this winter.

Tamnavulin Double Cask is an absolute bargain as an everyday whisky. Avoid the Sherry Cask though, too much sherry flavour imo, makes it a bit harsh.Looking for some suggestions as I need to restock.
I really enjoy the Glenmorangie 10 year old for every day drinking.
Caol Ila 12 is a good choice but one of my favourites is red breast.
Johnny Walker Double black pretty decent as well.
Easy drinking whiskeys are my go to smooth and soft with a hint of flavour.
Any other recommendations?
