Darn this Auchentoshan is one of the most easy drinking Whisky's I've had. Getting me some more of this. . Had some Jameson IPA afterwards and pulled a funny face.
Weird. I was about to post that it was nothing impressive for me. In fact, it was one of the least liked whiskies in the tasting we had. I was quite disappointed with it.

My standards are low

But you are welcome to suggest another Single Malt for R299.

For the money I guess it's worth it. It's just been on special for so long, I can't help but see it as a cheap whisky already. It's not a very flavourful whisky, to me, and lacks a lot of depth, but hey, you're drinking it and you're liking it. Me telling you to shell out R50 more for Glen Grant Single Malt isn't going to help you at all, if that's now what you're looking for. Also telling you that I'd rather take that money and buy two bottles of Grants is also not going to help. It's your whisky, you like it :D

Not 299, but Tamnavulin. Just released in SA and it's on a massive opening special for R339.
