Weird. I was about to post that it was nothing impressive for me. In fact, it was one of the least liked whiskies in the tasting we had. I was quite disappointed with it.

For the money I guess it's worth it. It's just been on special for so long, I can't help but see it as a cheap whisky already. It's not a very flavourful whisky, to me, and lacks a lot of depth, but hey, you're drinking it and you're liking it. Me telling you to shell out R50 more for Glen Grant Single Malt isn't going to help you at all, if that's now what you're looking for. Also telling you that I'd rather take that money and buy two bottles of Grants is also not going to help. It's your whisky, you like itMy standards are low

I will make up for it with one of these then
I personally prefer Glendronach 12, it's 529 at Makro ;D! A bit less on the spice but a bit more prominent on the sherry.

I have tried the Lasanta before and didn't really appeal but I'd try it again except I spent too much this year on whisky...
I should note I don't like the Glenmorangie 10 or 18 so that might factor into only finding the Lasanta decent?
