I'm pretty sure you can convert one to run on corn. Heaven. It's like riding a chicken. No it isn't, just like crummy Opels.
Bourbon is like no other whiskey. Best things in life are made of corn.
Love this packaging.
Their standard range is pretty decent, the Valhalla Collection however is exceptional.
Even so, an older bottle is usually something special. Something that's been in the bottle for 20 years+ will more often than not have been in superior casks and generally have better quality of spirit. A good example of this would be all the distilleries that have moved to bull**** NAS bottlings with more effort put into marketing than product (here's looking at you Macallan), where the older non-NAS releases were far superior.
While it doesn't mature in the bottle, some do hold the belief that an extended period of time in the bottle can "smooth the edges" a little bit.
still looking for cheap Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey here....
I did, I love it.Tried Jim Beam?
I haven't decided if I should drink it or offload it on a collector who may be interested in the older bottle.
Red Breast, awesome tasting Irish Pot Stilled 12year whiskey!
Best out there imo.
Gift from my wife. Will wait for a special occasion for this one.

I doubt you would get much for an old bottle of Glenfiddich 12, it's not a rare or sought after bottling.
Glendronach, not Glenfiddich
Two confessions :
1. Moths love suicide by whisky
2. Mixed my drinks tonight. Famous Grouse & Knights
Were you trying to make the Knights taste better or the Grouse taste worse?
Actually I've never tried Knights. But what was the result?
So, some of you would have probably seen my incessant moaning about giving up drinking while the missus is knocked up. Well it paid off. Not only did she give birth to a beautiful baby boy this morning, she gifted me a Glenmorangie 18 y/o Extremely Rare for sticking it out with her.

Having had the "normal' 18y/o before I'm not sure where this one will excel (or fall short), but it looks like a heck of a smooth scotch. Not being able to indulge quite yet, I took a whiff before putting it away, and it smells so bloody good!
