I'm saving my bucks for something else 
The 12yo is not too bad but at the same price I'd rather have something like a naked grouse instead.
The 3yo is sitting on my shelf for months, I think I will end up using it for drinks.

I actually quite like the 12yo, I haven't bought a bottle though as I have too many bottles
. I had the previous batch and think this batch might be a bit better and slightly different from memory but I haven't done a side by side. I think the previous batch was a bit more spicy.It's a good whisky, not the most exciting but given that lots of 12yo whiskies are now north of R500, it is actually a good buy.
Good to know, thanks. That was my thinking, R350 for a 12 year single malt seems decent. At worst can share it out when friends comeI actually quite like the 12yo, I haven't bought a bottle though as I have too many bottles

What I meant to say was, that I also bought this amazing Single Cask...Cask Strength whisky recently.
We had the Single & Single online tasting last night and it was absolutely brilliant...more S&S purchases were made whilst under the influence...

The US are going to allow 700ml imports which will leave little old SA as the only country with a 750ml standard. This could mean trouble for our whisky options in future.
