Big brother and little brother...reminds me of those movies where adults and children swap bodies.

Great to taste these side by side...a great dram, made even greater by the CS version. Probably predictable, but still awesome to test that theory

^ I have a stupid question: Do you keep the small bottles to swap out with other whisky friends?

Something like that, yes. We very regularly swap samples amongst ourselves. Currently I have 3 liters of Whisky samples...60 small 50ml bottles, each with a different Whisky or Rum.

It is an awesome way of learning about Whisky and also tasting Whisky that you otherwise may never get to buy or even cannot afford.

Or friends offer samples when they have an open bottle and you have not opened yours yet. Or in the case of the Angel's Envy: I had the standard version and a friend sent me the CS version to compare.

They have so many different releases that it is hard to keep up anymore.
It looks like its just a sticker on the box. The liqour store I was at had a few loch lomonds including the 12, they all had a sticker on the box.

"In 2018, Loch Lomond Whiskies agreed a five-year partnership with The R&A, organisers of the Open, and are now the official spirit of The Open. Known as "The One", The Open is the most international of the major championships with qualifying events across five continents. Each year, limited edition single malt whiskies are developed and released in celebration of the golfing event. "
