Too late. Also, it was cheap, and I'm not exactly a whisky expert by any stretch of the imagination.
For me it's not about being an expert, I just drink for the enjoyment as opposed for the effect......and this did not give me any enjoyment

Currently busy with an order. There's an issue with customs right now, will let u know when it's all sorted what it worked out to. There is a customs charge.

I have used them a lot and there are custom charges for sure.
On a R 4 890 order I paid R 1 243.81 customs and duties.
On a R 2 832 order I paid R 878.68 customs and duties.
Etc...etc.
DHL does all the work however.
They will mail you very early in the shipping and send you a link where you can pay the customs clearance and all the other hidden little charges.
All this is done online and works extremely well.
So your shipment gets pre-cleared and delivered very quickly. I have had 2.5 days from order and the product standing on my desk.
The DHL shipping is very expensive as well of course.

I don't know. I know nothing about Japanese whisky (as per above in the thread). Maybe someone else can weigh in. Regardless, it's more than I'm willing to pay right now, just thought it worth mentioning for in case it is actually worth it to someone else.
