) and also looked down my nose at Bain's and Three Ships, until I tasted the stuff and also visited the Distillery.One more thing: It is expensive to make Whisky AND age it in extremely expensive barrels.

I finally found the best use for Johnnie Black!!!
Mix it into a chocolate milkshake to create a Dirty Pedro. Fantastic, the smokiness of the Johnnie Black really works well with the chocolate flavour.
As a side note, I've also tried a Dirty Pedro with Talisker but the peatiness overwhelms the chocolate a bit.

I know the best way to drink whiskey is however you like it but mixing Talisker into a milk shake would make me sad almost as bad as this video.
I'm not a big fan of Talisker to be honest.
I'd never put a good whisky into a milkshake, that would be sacrilege.
