Sorry but the Rum cask has been sold out, I went to purchase another 2 this week.Oh they were fantastic deals. Casks that were practically next to these were on MoM for a lot more. Whiskybrother did amazingly. Sounds like I'll enjoy itand it was quite a nice amount so there's probably going to be some in stock for later in the year (if we're ever able to get alcohol again).

Looking at the inflated prices R100o for the Johnny red, White Walker or Akashi sounds about right
Jokes aside, I've been fielding calls from friends looking for whisky, wine or whatever I can spare. I might have to take them up on the offer by the end of the month, this house needs to be empty and I don't want to be transporting alcohol during the lockdown.

You already made up your mind before posting that teaserI entered the Bruichladdich ballot to buy a bottle of their Feis Isle release this year of which there is 3000 bottles....
£150. I have until this afternoon make up my mind but this will look so good as part of my PC collection and it’s the oldest bottling of PC to date (I believe).
What to do.....
So my lockdown whisky purchases have been as follows, and I eagerly await their post-lockdown delivery:
WhiskyBrother marrying cask version, which I’ve heard very good things about and hence the purchase.
Glenrothes 10yo Adelphi -
“A single cask release from the Glenrothes distillery in Speyside, by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 2009, matured for 10 years in a refill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled in 2020. Only 508 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at a natural cask strength of 65.5%.”
Bought that one really just for the ABV.
And, of course, the PC16 which is on its way.

I've had people blame 50% price increases on ROE.
Remember ALL current stock on hand is loooong before lockdown...don't fall for any BS.
I've heard of some suppliers bootlegging out there and selling existing stock but yeah, I agree with your point but there's guys out there that will be selling existing stock at the post lockdown replacement price. I've still got a lot of stock so I'm only buying if it's at a good price.
