Thanks a lot. Those are some seriously optimistic prices. Also, I'm not convinced all of those whiskies are from the 70s and 80s. For example, I'm pretty sure that the Black Grouse was only somewhat recently renamed to renamed the Smokey Black.

There's no doubt on that, some of the Glenfiddich 12 could still be had in 2019. That explorer's pack of 3 x 200ml was purchased by myself on special at Makro a few years ago, I paid R300.

They've also recently announced that, as part of their green initiative, they are planning to radically cut down on their packaging etc.

So these will disappear off the market very soon...and probably be collectable in 10 years time if kept in pristine condition.
