Yeah I had my twitter timeline full of this for the last week or so... but consider I started a few of these threads I decided to skip out on copying it this time. Still glad to see there are many, who like me see a bit of idiocy in the WB interview approach.

I've never had one but it seems stupid to me. I'd much rather show them what I've developed.

Hey I'm the Functional guy... not really sure what paradigm sticks for @cguy.

Don't worry everyone knows you are, that comment was for cguy, not you.

I've had quite a lot; what they don't realise is how much the WB ego prone process reflects on the company culture (or lack thereof). Uber has been being doing the rounds with regards to the worse of the worse, not that the other WB bunch are any better.

Lol... but there was a brief period when I used to be the OOP guy... No worries it's clear @cguy loves his WB; imagining him now, black finger tips, massive pocket protector filled with marker pens, ...

I've seen a few companies mentioned that style approach; certainly far better than those (e.g. Google) who dictate a list of study materials for the interview -- what exactly are they testing for? early onset Alzheimers...

Language, I never mentioned a language. So not sure what you're on about.
Everyone...? practically most languages have just done that; adopted FP in one way or the other. We can focus in on 1 in particular if that helps; because sometimes FP features are being used without it being acknowledged that it's FP.

So what? I'm not really interested in getting into a discussion with you about FP. I generally avoid your threads like the plague.
